Instructor FAQs

We’re looking for 6–12 week, cohort-based courses that are live, interactive, and rooted in real-world impact. Each course should include a final project (e.g., write an op-ed, record a podcast, organize a community workshop, curate an exhibit, etc.). Courses should align with one or more of our four learning paths:
Liberation & Society
Narrative & Creative Expression
Community Health & Wellbeing
Worldbuilding (Systems, Design & Ethics)
-
We expect courses to meet once per week live (1–2 hours) for the duration of the course. You may also provide asynchronous resources (e.g., readings, videos, discussion prompts) if you choose. In addition to teaching, there may be 1–2 planning sessions with our team to shape your course for maximum impact.
-
Faculty set their own course prices (we recommend $600–$1,200 for the pilot) and receive 70% of total registration revenue.
You’ll also have the option to offer:
Sliding scale pricing
Scholarship seats
Pay-it-forward contributions from learners
-
We aim for 15–25 students per course to ensure intimacy, interaction, and deep learning. You’ll be able to set your minimum and maximum enrollment thresholds when submitting your proposal.
-
